About this camera
Fodnes weather cameras (Yr) is a webcam shown on the operator's own site in Fodnes, Lærdal, Norway, run by Norsk Luftambulanse (shown on Yr). It faces north, towards the aurora oval, so even a low aurora near the horizon shows up.
Over many years, aurora shows on about 10% of clear, dark nights at this camera's magnetic latitude (58°). That is a long-term average, not a forecast: tonight's chance is next to the camera.
