Greenland aurora webcams

Greenland's west coast sits under the auroral oval, and Kangerlussuaq, at the head of a long fjord near the ice sheet, has one of the most stable, dry inland climates in the Arctic. Darkness returns in late August and the season runs into April.

Almost every camera here is a YouTube live stream from Greenland Airports, from Kangerlussuaq, Ilulissat, Sisimiut and Upernavik in the west to Kulusuk on the east coast. They point along runways and over the sea, so the sky fills much of the frame.
