Swedish Lapland's aurora country is the far north around Abisko and Kiruna, about 200 km inside the Arctic Circle. Abisko lies in the rain shadow of the mountains along the Norwegian border, so it often stays clear when the coast is under cloud.
Sweden has fewer public webcams than its neighbours: road-camera images need a registered key, so most cameras here are live streams and observatory pages. The Norwegian road cameras just across the border at Bjørnfjell show the same sky as Abisko and Riksgränsen.

Where to watch in Sweden
Abisko
A small village on Lake Torneträsk inside the national park of the same name. The rain shadow of the Norwegian mountains and the Aurora Sky Station make it one of Europe's best-known aurora spots.
Kiruna
Sweden's northernmost town, built on mining and now moving because of it. The Icehotel, Esrange space centre and nearby Abisko make it a solid base for an aurora trip.
